tk baje Cricket Betting — bet on every match from BPL to the T20 World Cup
Bet on BPL, IPL and international cricket while following the Bangladesh Tigers. At tk baje you'll find match winner, toss, top batsman and many more markets all in one place.
Cricket's three formats and major tournaments
Each of cricket's three formats creates its own betting opportunities. T20 is the fastest — a match ends in just 20 overs, so the situation changes with every ball and in-play markets stay very active. The excitement around the T20 World Cup and BPL is the greatest in Bangladesh.
ODI, or one-day matches, are played over 50 overs; because the pace of a batting innings rises and falls, total runs and partnership markets are popular. Test cricket runs for five days — a draw is a valid result here, so innings totals and series result markets require a different approach.
Major competitions include BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), ICC T20 World Cup, ICC Cricket World Cup and bilateral series. Interest in Bangladesh Tigers matches is always at its peak.
Alongside cricket betting, tk baje also offers betting on football, kabaddi and other sports. These sports generally have fewer markets than cricket — football mainly covers match result, goalscorer and both-teams-to-score markets — and for a completely different experience from sports betting, live casino games are available at tk baje Casino.
Popular betting markets and examples
Match Winner
Which team wins the match — the simplest and most common market. For example, in a T20 between Team A and Team B, you back Team B to win. If Team B wins, the bet is successful; if not, your stake is lost.
Toss Winner
A bet on which team wins the toss before the match starts. The outcome is entirely independent — either Team A or Team B, one of the two will be correct.
Top Batsman
Which batter from a given team scores the most runs in a specific innings or across the whole match. Openers tend to feature most in this market.
Total Runs Over/Under
The bookmaker sets a target — for example, 160 runs — and you bet over or under it. As with handicap betting, pitch and weather play a big role here.
Multi Bet / Accumulator
Combining predictions from several matches or markets multiplies the odds together — but if any single selection is wrong, the entire bet is lost. A detailed example is in the odds section below.
Top Bowler / Wickets
Which bowler takes the most wickets in the match — pitch type (spin or pace) and weather conditions play an important role in this market.
A multi bet example: If three separate matches have decimal odds of 1.50, 1.60 and 1.70, the combined odds are 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 4.08 (approximately). A ৳100 bet returns ৳408 if all three win — but if any single bet loses, the entire ৳100 is gone.
How to read odds — three formats
Bookmakers write odds in three different ways — Decimal, Fractional and American. tk baje generally uses the decimal format, as it is the easiest to understand.
Example 1 — Team A wins (৳1,000 bet)
| Format | Value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 3.00 | A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳3,000 (profit ৳2,000 + stake ৳1,000) |
| Fractional | 2/1 | ৳2 profit for every ৳1 staked |
| American | +200 | ৳200 profit on a ৳100 bet (plus sign means underdog) |
If the bet loses, ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Favourite Team B wins (৳1,000 bet)
| Format | Value | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 1.80 | A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,800 (profit ৳800) |
| Fractional | 4/5 | ৳4 profit for every ৳5 staked |
| American | -125 | You need to bet ৳125 to win ৳100 (minus sign means favourite) |
Lower odds on the favourite mean lower profit.
A limited-overs cricket match winner example
Team A has odds of 1.80 and Team B has odds of 2.00. You place ৳500 on Team B — if Team B wins, you get back ৳1,000 (profit ৳500). If Team A wins, ৳500 is lost. There is no draw in T20 or ODI, so one of the two outcomes will happen.
A few important points about odds
- Decimal odds tell you the total return directly — including your stake.
- Fractional odds show only the profit; you add the stake separately.
- American plus (+) means underdog; minus (−) means favourite.
- Lower odds mean the bookmaker considers that team more likely to win.
- Odds are just a number — they are not a guarantee of winning.

Live In-Play Betting — bet while the match is on
With in-play betting you can place bets after the match has started — odds shift quickly with every over, wicket, four or six. For example, if Team A has scored only 90 runs and lost 6 wickets after 15 overs, the odds on Team B winning will shorten because the bookmaker sees Team A in a weak position.
Similarly, odds are recalculated after every wicket or big partnership. In T20 the situation can change completely in the last 5 overs, which makes in-play markets far more fast-moving.
A few features of in-play betting
- New markets open after every over.
- Odds change instantly when a wicket falls or the run rate rises.
- You can follow the match on mobile and place bets at the same time.
- There is less time to decide compared to pre-match markets.
A few practical tips for cricket betting
Understand the format before you bet
T20, ODI and Test have different styles of play. A team that is strong in Test cricket is not necessarily the favourite in T20 — especially when pitch and weather conditions change.
Set a budget beforehand
Decide on a fixed amount for each match in advance and stick to it. Betting more to chase losses is risky.
Focus on one market to start with
Beginners should get comfortable with just the match winner market first. Betting across many markets at once is best avoided early on.
Check the pitch report and weather
Spinners tend to be more effective on spin-friendly pitches, and if rain is forecast, the DLS method may affect the match.
Betting is for entertainment
Bet to add to the enjoyment of watching cricket — do not treat it as a source of income. Stay within your limits and take breaks.
Know the rules
Before you start betting, read tk baje's terms and conditions carefully — know in advance what happens if a market is cancelled, a match is abandoned, or play is interrupted by rain.

Football and other sports
As well as cricket, tk baje offers football betting. The English Premier League and European club football have their own strong following in Bangladesh. The main football markets are match result (1X2), both teams to score and total goals — similar to cricket's total runs market but counted in goals.
The difference between cricket and football betting is that cricket offers far more variety of markets across its formats and in-play odds shift more quickly. In football, a draw is a common result, which does not exist in limited-overs cricket (though it does in Test cricket).
Kabaddi, volleyball and other sports have comparatively fewer betting markets, though additional markets may be added for major events. For a completely different experience from sports betting, you can also check out the tk baje Slots section.
